Puerto Vallarta is the heart of it all — cobblestone streets and the Romantic Zone in the south, glittering resorts along the Hotel Zone, and boat-access beaches hidden in the jungle to the south of town.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco is one of the world's premier destination-wedding cities on Mexico's Pacific coast. Couples marry on barefoot beaches, rooftop terraces in the Zona Romántica, restored haciendas above the old town, and boat-access coves like Las Caletas. Wedding Vallarta is based here and photographs across the entire bay.

Banderas Bay faces west, so the sun sets over the water — which is why I build every timeline around golden hour. In winter the sun sets near 6pm, so ceremonies often start at 4–4:30. More in the golden hour guide.
